The VH4's four fully independent channels cover the complete range — from pristine clean headroom to aggressive, articulate lead gain. Each channel has its own voice and character, and the early Blue Face versions are especially prized for their connection to the original era of the amp.

The Silk Blue variants on Ch3 and Ch4 add a distinct tonal flavor — slightly different midrange character — giving you additional options within the same amp platform.

These are not mix-ready, heavily compressed profiles. They're designed to feel and respond like a real amp — so you can shape the tone with your hands, your gear, and your Kemper's EQ.

Most Kemper profiles are static — one moment in time, one mic position, one state. Profiling 2.0 improves how the amp's dynamic behavior is captured, getting closer to how the amp actually responds across gain levels and pick attack.

Liquid Profiles add a layer on top: they replicate the amp's internal controls inside the Kemper, so when you turn the gain or tweak the EQ on your unit, it behaves like you're turning the knobs on the real amp — not just processing a static capture.

The result is a profile that moves with you instead of sitting still.

Liquid Profile note

This pack includes Liquid Profiles configured to deliver a response as close as possible to the original amp. At this time, Kemper does not offer an exact Liquid amp model for the VH4. For this release, the Liquid section uses the 5153 model, which provides the most natural and practical response available.

If Kemper releases an official matching Liquid amp model in the future, this pack will be updated at no additional cost.
