Feel the amp, not just the profile.

The Fatman – P2 Liquid Kemper Pack captures the feel, response, and channel behavior of an original late-’60s Fender Bassman silverface inside your Kemper.

This pack is built for players who want to use their Kemper more like a real amp.

  • Load N1 or N2 for the Normal channel inputs
  • Load the Bright versions when you want more top-end and bite
  • Load B1 or B2 for the Bass channel inputs
  • Load the linked profile for a tighter, more driven response with extra character
  • Load the DI versions if you want to use your own IRs or a real guitar cabinet

These are not heavily processed “mix-ready” profiles. The goal is to preserve the amp’s natural character and make it respond in a more realistic, amp-like way when you play, adjust the controls, or push it with stomps before the amp section.

This pack includes the same set of profiles across two very different cabinet captures plus DI versions, giving you a wider range of usable tones while keeping the logic of the original amp intact.

Why this pack stands out

  • Amp-like response and real input-based logic
  • Two cabinet flavors + DI profiles included
  • Bright and linked variations for extra character
  • Instant digital download

About the amp

The Fender Bassman is one of the most important amp platforms in guitar history, known for its open voice, dynamic feel, and the way it takes pedals and pushed input levels.

This pack is based on a late-’60s silverface Bassman and focuses on the amp as a practical guitar tool: different inputs, different channel personalities, and a naturally responsive feel that works for clean tones, edge-of-breakup sounds, and driven textures.

The Normal channel profiles were captured from Input 1 and Input 2, both with and without the Bright switch, giving you a useful range from fuller and smoother to more present and cutting.

The Bass channel profiles were captured from Input 1 and Input 2. The amp’s Deep switch was left out of this pack because it pushed the low end too far for guitar use.

This pack also includes a linked-input profile, created by plugging into the Bass channel and linking across to the Normal channel. The result is a tone with more gain, a tighter feel, and its own distinct character.

To expand the range further, the same profiles were captured through two different cabinets: a KSR 212 with Creambacks for a more direct and familiar close-miked guitar cab sound, and a KSR 112 with a V30 miked from about 2–3 feet away for a more open, room-aware sound inspired by older recording approaches.

Liquid Profile Note

This pack includes Liquid Profiles configured to deliver a response as close as possible to the original amp.

For this release, the Liquid section uses Kemper’s Bassman amp model from a different Bassman generation, as it provides the closest overall response to the original amp used for these captures.

While the original amp does not include a Middle control, this model still offered the most natural and practical result for preserving the character and feel of the source amp inside the Liquid workflow.

If Kemper releases an official matching Liquid amp model in the future, this pack will be updated at no additional cost.
